While the world is still crazy, I’m keeping myself occupied with little things like, in what size should I order the dresses I fell in love with at The Outnet (discount designer fashion outlet). This is by the way one of the places to be, when you care more about your style then for fashion.
For the ones who stumbled upon this post and visit my blog for the first time: I’m a sucker for prints. Especially prints on dresses. This time I fell in love with two dresses from Just Cavalli Continue reading →
Yeah I know I am pretty shallow for just posting clothing stuff, so you might get inspired. At least I don’t do anyone harm by it, in big contrast to those bombers lately. WHAT THE FU*** IS THAT ALL ABOUT? What is the purpose of killing innocent people? Just because not everyone has the same religion. You must have a pretty Continue reading →
Unbelievable it’s been already three years on the blog, and still counting!
The average number of posts has dropped from once a week to once a month though. That doesn’t mean my inspiration has dropped too. On the contrary! It means I have more Continue reading →
I hope you all had a wonderful start in this brand new year! And that your plans or dreams for 2016 are even better. May they all come true!
I don’t have many dreams (left), but my numero UNO dream is a biggie: start my own clothing label for women! I strongly believe that it helps a lot when you put it out into the universe. So here it comes!
The designs would be with a similar cut as you can see throughout my blog: sometimes with a flared skirt, sometimes Continue reading →
How was this year so far for you? Oh wait! It’s almost gone!
For me it was quite a year, with ups and downs.
A major up was my blooming cooperation with House of Byfield (HOB), especially with the founder and head designer Carmichael Byfield. It looks like the cooperation could be growing into a full blossom next year. Another up was that I still had enough inspiration to quite some posts on my blog. It makes me feel alive to work on these posts, especially to put the looks together, to model for the camera and to pick out the most striking poses. Also the awesome comments once a post is posted (still not so much on my blog, but on Lookbook.nu I have 439 fans right now) keeping me going. I have several looks to work on for next year, so stay tuned! Continue reading →
From 3 – 13 July the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was in Amsterdam to present the Spring/Summer 2016 collection of upcoming talents, designers and commercial labels and brands. I witnessed three of the catwalk shows on Saturday July 11. The first show I attended was House of Byfield. One of the models at this show is a dear Facebook and Instagram friend of mine: Bonny Severijns . It was her first time to walk a show Continue reading →
Feeling lucky is a state of mind. I don’t need much to accomplish that. That’s easy for me to say. I have a better half who loves me, I’m in good health, I have a nice home to live in and money in my pocket. Continue reading →
I already mentioned it in several other posts that I visit a few times a year our famous shopping street in Amsterdam: the PC Hoofdstraat. Here are the reasonably priced shops, along with the high end priced shops. Normally I limit myself just to visit the shops in the first category, because I don’t have the kind of money to spent there. Friday a week ago, I’ve made an exception, because I had an excuse to visit the Bvlgari shop. Continue reading →
I don’t have many New Year’s resolutions, and one of them is to stay focused on fashion. What better way to accomplish that is to attend a Fashion Week event. There is one real soon in Amsterdam: MBFWA. It goes down … Continue reading →
