In earlier posts I’ve mentioned that I have other hobbies too, like woodworking and DIY project in our home. We have been pushing furniture around and because of that I had to take the time to design and make a new cabinet and a new banister at the attic. Although this is my style blog, but maybe for once I do a post of the bigger DIY projects I’ve been designed and build.

Outing crossdressing at work

On the subject of my crossdressing it has been an exciting time for me too. For instance on the job. At my work we have a newsletter, Continue reading

Yeah I know I am pretty shallow for just posting clothing stuff, so you might get inspired. At least I don’t do anyone harm by it, in big contrast to those bombers lately. WHAT THE FU*** IS THAT ALL ABOUT? What is the purpose of killing innocent people? Just because not everyone has the same religion. You must have a pretty Continue reading

Always fun to shop at Karen Millen

Judging by the title you would expect I have some kind of collaboration with her …. I wish!

In this post I’ll show you my latest purchase from the Karen Millen collection. I’ve bought it on November 15th of this year in the shop at the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. In the Karen Millen shops are always friendly people who want to help you in any way they can.

When I prepared this post it suddenly hit me: over a period of four years, I’ve collected already twelve dresses (on a total of about 60 dresses) from this label. Not to brag about it or anything, but just for understanding how fun the dresses from Karen Millen are, not only to look at, but also to wear.

You have to understand that Karen Millen is a one-stop-shop. It has all sorts of clothing in Continue reading

I just got back from vacation and I have a ton of inspiration! Not only I had a wonderful score in the sale at my destination, now I can make more combinations than before. I hope I can get my camera into place tomorrow, so I can show it all to you over the next period of time. In the meantime I’ve prepared something I haven’t done up until now, namely a request to you. New casual blue

In my first own home I was mister Blue. I bought lots of blue stuff. Blue curtains, blue carpets, blue furniture ( most of the time different blues in one room), etc. And of course blue clothing. After five years I engaged in my first serious relationship. Over a period of two years all that blue disappeared and made way for all other different colors. This year we celebrate our twentieth anniversary! Last year I’ve made a profound turn and bought my blue winter coat, which I’ve already showed you. Continue reading

What are you looking at me for?

I really love this dress/cardigan. I still remember the time I went shopping for the first time in one of my favourite shops in Haarlem. Luckily for my purse only a few times a year they have a real gem. You have to be quick to decide buying it, or else it’s gone. For example the leather jacket I wore in my post ‘No need for an umbrella today!’.

I was almost at the back of the store and discovered this piece. The minute I laid my eyes on this piece I knew I had to have it.  It has my favourite color. It has a clean cut. It looks tough. I can wear it different ways, although as a dress it’s pretty short. It has zip closure. Next step in the decision making is the Litmus Test: does it fit and does it look good on me. I was pleasantly surprised it follows my body perfectly, because most of the times a dress made from a fabric like this is way too wide at the hips. So in less than 30 minutes I was in and out of the store with a awesome dress!
